Review on the The Vespa S 50cc

Bettie Page Redefined Glamor

1923-2008

Long before the word “supermodel” became part of everyday lexicon, Bettie Page redefined glamor, fashion and sex appeal in America in the 1950s.

According to PLAYBOY magazine, Bettie Page is “the Queen of Pin-ups. The model of the century, yet she remains one of its best kept secrets.”

After several years of obscurity, she experienced a resurgence of popularity in the 1980s and had a significant cult following. Her look, including her jet black hair and trademark bangs, has been iconic within the rockabilly subculture and has influenced many artists.

Bettie passed away on December 2 after suffering a heart attack. She was 85 years old.
